Thumbprint Adventures gives children, ages 1 1/2 to 9 what they need -
An opportunity to use their brain to it's fullest capacity in an engaging, creative environment!
This premier child development program is a unique, fun-filled, action-packed, theme-based adventure, full of song, movement, creativity and fun! Created by Dr. Karen Halpern, a Speech-Language Pathologist and Child Educator, each weekly class is designed to equip children with new intellectual, physical and social skills.
In today’s rapidly changing world, we can't predict what our children will need to know in their future. Therefore, we can not continue to simply teach specific academic skills. We must equip them with an ability to learn, adapt, and enjoy the challenges of change.
At Thumbprint Adventures, we instil a desire for learning.
The magic and attraction of our programs for the children is that they feel special, involved and empowered when they are with us. They are interacting in ways that no school can offer, learning by being immersed in an experience. There is a huge difference between teaching by telling, and engaging people in the learning process!
At Thumbprint Adventures we are fostering individuals who are creative in their thinking, who are able to withstand frustration, and who have an ability to trust their judgment and feel confident about their ideas.
Here's what some parents are saying:
“I don’t know what you do in that room, but it is magical.
My child has never talked so much about a program.”
“He wants to know if he can come everyday”
“My child showed me a very creative art project. When I asked her where she came up with such a creative idea, she rolled her eyes at me and said ‘at Thumbprint Adventures, Mommy. It’s where they teach us to use our brains!’
Learning while travelling to distant planets or visiting penguins in the South Pole...is it any wonder why, year after year, children insist on coming to Thumbprint Adventures classes!
